July 12 2013, marks the day of the passing of my dear friend. He is loved and missed.

In The Beginning

Summer 2006

Kailaan met Tim Fortune in June 2006. Jack was green broke and fond of Rearing. Kailaan needed to find his savvy and learn to think like a horse! Learning, playing and working together over the years, Tim and Kailaan formed a strong bond. They grew together as horsemen and friends.

This was the beginning of this very amazing journey with horses on the road to becoming a Horseman...

Kailaan was 15 and living in this Dodge Van on Tim Fortune's ranch in Ravenna ON. Kailaan & Jack trained with Tim Fortune for a month to prepare for their 1st Parelli Tournament hosted by Don Halladay at Keldon Farms that summer... After the tournament they continued on together playing, learning, working and riding everyday... Those were long days!!

Kailaan and Jack finished 5th. This was their first competition.
